Far away and high up

This was the motto of this year's end-of-year party, which took us by bus to the Duisburg Landscape Park.

There, we were led in different groups by torchlight through the old, illuminated ironworks and were told by knowledgeable guides how people used to “work” under unspeakable conditions in the form of hellish noise, toxic gases and sticky dust.

Was this a clever move by the management to show the team how wonderful life is at VOGEL-BAUER? 😉

But we already know that anyway…

Those with a head for heights went all the way to the top, where they were rewarded with a spectacular view over the Ruhr region. But there were also great views of the illuminated park on the more moderate tour.

Afterwards, there was a party in the old “Hauptschalthaus” and a photo box provided plenty of fun. The bus ride home was much noisier than the outward journey...

We really let it rip....

... on our roof! On a total of 5,015 m², 1,508 solar modules willbe installed to generate 633.36 kWp (approx. 576,000 kWh per year) in the future. This certainly puts us in the TOP TEN of the largest installations in our region! A lot of young men were hard at work on our hall roofs these days, and this simultaneously from 3 different [...] Before the elevation, one of the 7 halls will be given a new roof.
